VeryDarkMan Accuses Adeleke of Being APC Ally After Reported Tinubu Endorsement

Social media activist VeryDarkMan has accused Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke of being politically aligned with the All Progressives Congress (APC) following reports that the governor is supporting President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

VeryDarkMan made the allegations in a video shared on his official Instagram account on Thursday, claiming that Adeleke’s reported role as Osun State coordinator of the City Boy Movement, a group supporting Tinubu, raised questions about his political loyalties.

The activist alleged that the development suggested Adeleke had long maintained an alliance with the ruling party despite contesting the Osun governorship election under the Accord Party.

He also claimed that the governor’s reported involvement with the movement could influence the outcome of the 2027 presidential election in Osun State.

“Adeleke is now the coordinator for City Boy in Osun State, so basically what that means is that there is nothing that can happen to Osun State, even if Osun State people vote against Tinubu, Ademola Adeleke is going to manipulate the numbers and make sure Tinubu wins,” VeryDarkMan alleged.

However, he did not provide evidence in the statements quoted to substantiate his claim that the governor would manipulate election results.

The activist further questioned the political circumstances surrounding Adeleke’s emergence as governor, describing the contest between the Accord Party and the APC in Osun State as a struggle between political interests he believes were closely connected.

“Ademola Adeleke has always been an APC,” he alleged, insisting that the political contest was different from how it appeared to the public.

VeryDarkMan also brought former Rivers State Governor and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, into the controversy, claiming that Wike contacted Adeleke before and after the Osun governorship election.

According to the activist, Wike allegedly encouraged Adeleke to take his Certificate of Return to President Tinubu and express appreciation after the election.

He further alleged that social media posts by Afrobeats star Davido, Adeleke’s nephew, were intended to influence public opinion during the political contest.

The claims add to the political debate surrounding possible alliances and alignments ahead of the 2027 general election.

However, the allegations about Adeleke’s political loyalties, possible election manipulation and the alleged conversations involving Wike remain unsubstantiated in the information available. No response from Adeleke, Wike or Davido was included in the source material.
