Champions League: Mbappé Joins Raúl in All-Time Top Five Scorers

Kylian Mbappé has moved into the top five of the UEFA Champions League’s all-time scoring charts after finding the net in Real Madrid’s 2–1 victory over Inter Milan.

The French forward’s goal took his Champions League tally to 71, putting him level with Real Madrid legend Raúl in joint-fifth place on the competition’s all-time scoring list.

Mbappé has reached the landmark in just 99 Champions League appearances, having made his competition debut with Monaco in 2016.

The milestone further highlights the Frenchman’s remarkable scoring record in Europe’s premier club competition. He has now scored 71 goals across 11 Champions League campaigns.

Mbappé was also the competition’s leading scorer last season after finishing with 15 goals, and his latest performances are expected to strengthen his position among the leading contenders in the 2026 Ballon d’Or race.

Real Madrid’s victory over Inter was one of several notable results on Tuesday.

Manchester City defeated Porto 2–0, while Borussia Dortmund edged Villarreal 3–2. Aston Villa also recorded a 3–2 victory over Club Brugge, Real Betis beat Lille by the same scoreline and AEK Athens secured a 1–0 win against LASK.

Attention now turns to Wednesday’s fixtures, with Barcelona facing Feyenoord, Liverpool taking on Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain meeting Slovan Bratislava and Napoli hosting Arsenal.
