Beauty entrepreneur and reality TV personality Diadem Adeola has accused her former friend and colleague, Dabota Lawson, of allegedly using bloggers to attack her reputation following their fallout.
Diadem made the claims in a series of posts on Instagram, alleging that private issues between the two women had been taken online after Lawson allegedly shared information about her with bloggers.
The reality star said the situation became more distressing when pictures of her daughter were reportedly published by a blog during the dispute. She said seeing her child involved in the controversy left her deeply upset.
“I felt like a failed parent when I saw my daughter’s face on that dirty blog,” Diadem wrote.
She further alleged that using bloggers to discredit people had become a pattern whenever Lawson fell out with others. Diadem said she became more concerned after hearing similar allegations from other people who had previously had disagreements with Lawson.
“Every time you fall out with someone, it seems like your first instinct is to use bloggers to tear them down,” she alleged.
Diadem acknowledged that she and Lawson had experienced a disagreement but maintained that she had worked for years to build her business and public image. She said she would not allow the dispute to undermine what she had built.
The entrepreneur ultimately asked Lawson to stop discussing her publicly and leave her out of further controversies. “Get my name off your mouth Dabota Lawson and leave me alone,” she wrote.
Lawson’s response to the allegations was not included in the information available for this report. The claims made by Diadem have therefore not been independently verified.
