Ex- NPA Managing Director Aminu Dabo Resigns From APC in Kano

A former Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Aminu Dabo, has resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC), ending his membership of the ruling party.

Dabo, who served as chairman of the APC caucus in Dambatta Local Government Area of Kano State, announced his resignation in a letter dated October 7, 2026.

The letter was addressed to the chairman of the party’s Dambatta Gabas Ward, where he formally communicated his decision to leave the APC.

Dabo said his resignation followed careful consideration of personal reasons and his future plans.

He added that he had submitted the letter to the appropriate party officials in Dambatta for further action.
