GehGeh Blasts Mavo Over Alleged Exposure of Shallipopi’s Financial Struggles

Nigerian financial commentator GehGeh has criticised content creator Mavo over an alleged private conversation involving singer Shallipopi, questioning why the musician’s reported financial difficulties were made public.

GehGeh described the alleged disclosure as a betrayal, arguing that Mavo should have protected the privacy of someone he considered close to him.

“Mavo, you’re a bad person. Shallipopi is like a brother to you; what would you gain from letting the streets know he’s broke?” GehGeh said while reacting to the controversy.

The financial commentator said private conversations about money should remain confidential, especially between people who regard each other as friends or brothers. He argued that publicly discussing another person’s financial problems could damage trust and relationships.

GehGeh also urged Shallipopi to forgive Mavo despite the controversy, claiming that the singer played a role in Mavo’s rise in the music industry.

“Shallipopi forgive Mavo; he doesn’t know it’s with your music pattern that he blew up,” he said.

He further warned men against openly discussing financial struggles with people they do not completely trust, saying information shared privately could later find its way into the public domain.

The comments have added another voice to the controversy surrounding the alleged conversation between Mavo and Shallipopi. The claims about Shallipopi’s financial situation remain allegations, while the dispute has continued to generate reactions online.
