IGP Olatunji Disu Posts New Police Spokespersons to Zone 5, Zone 11, Benue, Cybercrime Centre

Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Disu has approved the deployment of new Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) and Public Relations Liaison Officers to selected commands and formations of the Nigeria Police Force.

The Force announced the postings in a statement shared on its official X handle on Friday, saying the move was part of efforts to strengthen strategic communication, improve public access to credible police information and enhance engagement with the media and other stakeholders.

Under the approved deployments, Superintendent of Police Johnson A. Doghudje has been posted as the Police Public Relations Officer for Zone 5.

The police said Doghudje would be available on 08038773657 for official communication and enquiries.

Superintendent of Police Ojedele Olanrewaju Tunji has been posted to Zone 11 in Osogbo. His contact number is 09152481510.

The Force also announced the posting of Deputy Superintendent of Police Orchia Adndongu to the Benue State Police Command. He can be reached on 07013495466.

Similarly, Deputy Superintendent of Police Imah Unwana Victor has been deployed to the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC), with 08038281577 provided as his contact number.

According to the Nigeria Police Force, the deployments are intended to improve the timely dissemination of official information and strengthen collaboration between the police, journalists and members of the public.

The appointments come as the Force continues efforts to improve public communication and ensure that credible information about its activities is accessible across the affected commands and formations.
