Nigerian content creator Jarvis has assured her fans that her recent marriage to TikTok star Peller will not stop her from pursuing her entertainment career.
Speaking during a video broadcast shortly after her wedding, Jarvis said she remains committed to content creation and plans to take her career to a bigger level. She also revealed that she intends to pursue acting opportunities in Nollywood.
The creator, known for her AI-inspired performances and non-playable character (NPC) impressions, said her brand would continue to grow despite the major change in her personal life.
Jarvis also praised designer Prudent Gabriel for creating a robot-themed wedding dress that allowed her to express her signature identity during the ceremony. She said she and Peller were unaware of the design before seeing the finished outfit.
“Thank you Mrs Prudent for the robot-themed wedding dress. You brought out the robot in me,” Jarvis said, adding that the outfit made her feel that her talent had been recognised on her wedding day.
She said her AI-inspired character was far from being abandoned and expressed a desire to take the concept into the movie industry. Jarvis said she hopes to play roles that allow her to portray an AI robot, describing it as one of her biggest dreams.
Her comments come shortly after Peller sparked controversy by warning Nollywood producers and skitmakers against casting his wife in romantic roles involving male actors. The TikTok star said he considered kissing scenes involving his married wife disrespectful.
Peller also threatened to “harm” anyone who ignored his warning. His comments have since added a fresh layer to the discussion around how the couple’s marriage could affect Jarvis’s professional opportunities, particularly in acting and entertainment.
