Kunle Omisore: My Love for a Woman Can Disappear If She Stresses Me

Nollywood actor Kunle Omisore has opened up about his approach to relationships, saying his feelings for a woman can fade when the relationship becomes a source of constant stress or frustration.

Omisore said the change happens naturally and is not something he deliberately decides to do. According to the actor, once his peace is repeatedly disrupted, his feelings can switch off without warning.

“When I say I love you, I love you. If you frustrate me, that thing will switch off unconsciously, so I don’t control it,” he said.

The actor explained that the disappearance of his feelings can be so complete that he may begin to question whether his love for the person was genuine in the first place.

“And when it switches off, I will be like, ‘Oh, I really said I love you?’ That means it is switched off,” Omisore added.

When asked whether he could truly stop loving someone that easily, the actor gave a brief response: “Just like that.”

Omisore also said he would rather leave any situation that continually causes him stress, regardless of the status of the person involved.

“If it stresses me, I’m done. If a king came to a feast here, if he’s going to keep stressing me, maa salo,” he said, using the Yoruba expression to suggest that he would walk away.

For Omisore, however, there is one exception. He said financial hardship is the only form of stress he is willing to tolerate.

“The only thing that is allowed to stress me is when I don’t have money,” he said.
