Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has turned down an invitation from Arise TV presenter Rufai Oseni to respond publicly to claims made by fellow rapper Blaqbonez during a recent interview.
Oseni had invited the rapper to appear on his programme and give his side of the controversy. In a social media post, the presenter urged Odumodublvck to use the platform to respond to the issues raised by Blaqbonez.
Rather than accept the invitation, Odumodublvck criticised Oseni for failing to spell his stage name correctly. The rapper questioned the journalist’s professionalism and made it clear that he was not interested in appearing on the programme.
“It’s ODUMODUBLVCK sir. You cannot even spell my name right and you want to talk to me, I am so sorry but you are a terrible journalist sir,” he wrote.
Odumodublvck also indicated that he would prefer to present his version of events on another platform rather than appear on Oseni’s programme.
“I will go and tell someone else, my boss man,” the rapper said in his response, effectively declining the invitation.
The disagreement comes amid an ongoing dispute between Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez, which escalated after Odumodublvck made allegations of sexual abuse and harassment against his fellow rapper.
Blaqbonez has denied the allegations, while the controversy has continued to attract attention across Nigeria’s entertainment and social media spaces.
