Sea King Knocks Sunday Igboho Over Silence on Oyo School Abduction

Nigerian TikToker, Olumide Ogunsanwo, popularly known as Sea King, has criticised Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho, over his silence following the recent wave of attacks and abductions in Oyo State.

Sea King made the remarks in a video shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday while reacting to the mass abduction of teachers and students from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele, in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The abduction reportedly occurred on Friday, May 15, 2026, when armed men attacked the school community and kidnapped several victims.

Reports later emerged that one of the abducted teachers, identified as Michael Oyedokun, was allegedly beheaded by the attackers, while another viral video showed the school principal pleading with authorities to negotiate for their release.

Reacting to the development, Sea King questioned why Igboho had remained silent despite previous public declarations about protecting Yorubaland from bandits and criminal attacks.

The social media personality accused the activist of abandoning his earlier promises after returning to Nigeria.

“Where’s Sunday Igboho? You said nobody should campaign in Yorubaland except Tinubu. You said you wanted to eradicate all the Fulani that are killing people from the land. Where are you now? Why are you silent?” Sea King said.

He further described Igboho’s silence as political, adding, “You vowed to eradicate the bandits. You promised to lead 50,000 men. Now you’re back in Yorubaland, but the killings haven’t stopped. So where is the action? Silence after a presidential pardon isn’t bravery, it’s politics.”

The criticism comes months after Igboho’s name was reportedly removed from the Federal Government’s wanted list under the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

Igboho had spent several years outside Nigeria following the 2021 raid on his Ibadan residence by operatives of the Department of State Services during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
