Speed Darlington Warns Carter Efe Ahead of October 1 Celebrity Boxing Bout

Nigerian rapper and social media personality, Speed Darlington, has issued a warning to comedian and content creator Carter Efe ahead of their highly anticipated celebrity boxing bout.

The two entertainers are scheduled to face each other on October 1, 2026, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, as part of the ‘Chaos in the Ring’ series.

Speed Darlington has continued to build anticipation for the contest with provocative remarks aimed at Carter Efe ahead of their meeting inside the ring.

The bout will be Speed Darlington’s second appearance in the celebrity boxing circuit after he suffered a defeat to singer Portable in 2025.

Carter Efe, meanwhile, enters the contest after defeating Portable by unanimous decision in May 2026.

All three judges scored Carter Efe’s three-round victory 30-27 in his favour.

The rivalry between Carter Efe and Speed Darlington has also intensified during promotional activities for the fight.

At their official press conference, the two entertainers were involved in a heated confrontation before security personnel intervened and separated them.

The October 1 contest will be the first time Speed Darlington and Carter Efe meet in the boxing ring, after their rivalry has largely played out on social media and during promotional appearances.

The ‘Chaos in the Ring’ event will also feature other bouts, including the WBO African Light Heavyweight Continental Championship clash between Nigeria’s Godday Appah and Ghana’s Seth ‘Freezy Macbones’ Gyimah.
