Phyna Accuses VeryDarkMan of Sexual Advance, Says He Turned Public Against Her in Sister’s Case Dispute

Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has accused popular influencer VeryDarkMan of manipulating public opinion against her after she allegedly rejected his sexual advance.

The allegation surfaced on Sunday through a series of posts Phyna shared on X, escalating her ongoing online fallout with the controversial social commentator.

The dispute stems from a case involving the death of Phyna’s younger sister, Ruth Otabor, who was reportedly struck by a Dangote Cement truck in Edo State in 2025.

Phyna had earlier contacted VeryDarkMan to help push for justice in the case, a move that initially drew widespread public attention and pressure on Dangote Cement to take responsibility for the victim’s medical care.

Following his involvement, the company reportedly agreed to cover medical expenses, but tensions later emerged between both parties.

VeryDarkMan eventually stepped away from the case, alleging that Phyna had engaged in separate negotiations with the company without his knowledge—an accusation she strongly denied.

Phyna insists the narrative being circulated against her is false and claims the influencer deliberately worked to damage her reputation after their disagreement.

In her latest outburst, she accused VeryDarkMan of attempting to turn public sentiment against her and framing her negatively in the ongoing controversy.

She further alleged that the breakdown in their relationship was triggered after she rejected what she described as a sexual advance from him.

Sharing what she claims are chat screenshots, Phyna expressed anger over how the situation escalated and vowed never to forgive him.

“VeryDarkMan came out to say the opposite of what happened. I can never forgive him because he turned me into a bad person over my sister’s case… Claiming I requested N1 billion from Dangote,” she said.

She added that the situation worsened after he allegedly expressed romantic or sexual interest, which she says she did not accept.

VeryDarkMan has not officially responded to the latest allegations at the time of this report.
