Mbappé Brace Fires Real Madrid to El Clásico Victory Over Barcelona

Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappé scored twice to secure a 2-1 victory over Barcelona, ending the Catalan side’s perfect start to the domestic league season on Sunday.

Mbappé opened the scoring in the 41st minute after a failed clearance by a Barcelona defender presented him with an opportunity to find the net.

Barcelona responded in the second half, with captain Raphinha equalising in the 61st minute to revive hopes of extending the hosts’ unbeaten run.

However, Mbappé struck again in the 87th minute, finishing off a superb assist from substitute Eduardo Camavinga to seal all three points for Real Madrid and strengthen their position in the La Liga title race.

The defeat marked a setback for Barcelona, who had been aiming to extend their winning streak to 10 league matches, a feat no team had achieved in the competition this season.

Madrid’s victory also boosted their title ambitions as they seek to maintain pressure on their rivals at the top of the standings.

The result further highlighted Mbappé’s importance to Real Madrid, with the French forward delivering two decisive goals in one of football’s biggest rivalries.
