Blord Opens Up on Kuje Prison Experience, Says VIP Section Felt ‘Like a Vacation’

Nigerian social media personality Linus Williams, popularly known as Blord, has stirred reactions online after describing his stay at the Kuje Correctional Centre as surprisingly comfortable.

Speaking during a recent interview shared on social media, Blord claimed he was kept in a special VIP section within the facility, which he said offered privileges not available in regular detention areas.

The businessman and influencer compared parts of the correctional centre to a National Youth Service Corps orientation camp, saying the environment was more organised than many Nigerians would expect.

“Kuje looks like NYSC camp. Inside the camp they have VIP sections and that was where I was kept,” he said during the interview.

Blord further disclosed that the area where he stayed reportedly had access to home appliances and personal comfort, adding that his time there felt more like a break from normal life than punishment.

“It was like a vacation. I sleep, wake up and eat. I even had a chef,” he stated.

The social media personality also appeared to compare his experience with that of controversial activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, with whom he recently had an online disagreement.

According to Blord, inmates at the correctional facility received him warmly and even organised recreational activities during his stay.

“We played football and they organised games for me,” he added.

His comments have since generated debate online, with many Nigerians questioning the existence of preferential treatment within correctional facilities, especially for wealthy or high-profile individuals.
