‘I’m Rich, Money Doesn’t Matter’ – Ruger Reveals What He Wants in a Woman, Says He’s Ready to Settle Down

Afrobeats singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known as Ruger, has opened up about his views on relationships, saying a woman’s financial status is not a factor in his choice of a partner because he is financially secure.

The music star made the revelation during a recent livestream with streamer Shank, where he discussed dating, marriage and his personal life.

Ruger said he has previously been in relationships with women who were unemployed and lacked ambition, stressing that financial independence has never been one of his requirements when choosing a partner.

“A woman’s financial status doesn’t matter to me. I am rich. I have dated girls who didn’t make money before. They just sleep and wake up,” he said.

Instead of focusing on wealth, the singer explained that he values personality, revealing that his ideal partner is someone with a good sense of humour.

According to Ruger, he is now looking forward to getting married and building a family, adding that living alone has made him appreciate the idea of having a companion at home.

“I keep ordering takeouts because there is no one at home to cook for me. That’s one of the reasons I want to settle down,” he said.

Beyond his relationship plans, the Afrobeats star also spoke about his financial success, disclosing that he has earned more than $2 million so far this year.

The singer’s comments have since sparked conversations on social media, with fans sharing mixed reactions to his views on relationships, gender roles and marriage.
