JAMB Sets November 30 Deadline for Outstanding 2021–2025 Admission Offers

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has given candidates with outstanding admission offers from the 2021 to 2025 admission exercises until November 30, 2026, to accept or reject the offers on its Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

The Board announced the new deadline on Wednesday, extending the time available to affected candidates to complete the process on CAPS.

JAMB said candidates with outstanding offers must log into their CAPS profiles and indicate whether they wish to accept or reject their admission offers before the November 30 deadline.

The Board warned that candidates who fail to take action within the specified period risk losing the outstanding offers. Any offer that remains neither accepted nor rejected after November 30 will revert to “Not Admitted” on JAMB’s records.

The extension follows a temporary disruption of CAPS, which was reportedly unavailable for about 96 hours. JAMB had previously set September 30, 2026, as the deadline for candidates with the affected admission offers.

CAPS is JAMB’s online system for managing admissions into Nigerian tertiary institutions. It allows candidates to view available admission offers and make decisions on offers approved through the system.

Candidates affected by the directive are therefore advised to check their CAPS profiles and complete the acceptance or rejection process before the November 30 deadline.

JAMB’s latest directive applies to outstanding offers from the 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 admission exercises, giving candidates a final window to regularise their admission decisions.
