The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has published the list of successful candidates for its Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025 Selection Board, marking a key step in its ongoing recruitment process for new personnel.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, confirming that applicants who passed the zonal aptitude tests have now been shortlisted for the next stage of screening and interviews.
According to the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the shortlisted candidates were selected from those who participated in the aptitude examination conducted across 15 Nigerian Air Force bases on December 5, 2025.
He explained that only candidates whose names appear on the official recruitment portal will proceed to the Selection Board Interview for both Trades and Non-Tradesmen and Women categories.
The interview is scheduled to take place at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna, running from April 27 to June 13, 2026, with candidates expected to report strictly according to their assigned batch schedules.
NAF warned that failure to appear on the designated date would automatically result in disqualification from the recruitment process, stressing the importance of adherence to instructions published on the portal.
The Air Force also reiterated that the entire recruitment exercise is free of charge, cautioning applicants against making payments to any individuals or groups claiming to influence the process.
It urged successful candidates to rely solely on official communication channels for updates, including the NAF recruitment portal, where detailed batch schedules and guidelines have been published.
The development comes as part of the Air Force’s efforts to strengthen its manpower and improve operational readiness across the country amid ongoing security challenges.
