
Dr Reginald Uchenna Amadi and his wife received special recognition during their August Meetings tour across four communities in Mbaise, Imo State.
The couple visited the following communities during the tour:
Uratta
Okwu Emeke
Azaraowalla
Umueze Mbaise
The engagements brought the couple together with community members, mothers and women leaders across the areas visited.
Amadi was presented with awards of excellence in recognition of what organisers described as his philanthropic activities, commitment to grassroots development and support for families within the communities.
His wife, Mrs Amadi, was also honoured with an award for what organisers described as her leadership qualities, community involvement and commitment to empowering women.
The recognition added a celebratory dimension to the August Meetings, with supporters presenting the couple as individuals who have maintained strong connections with people at the grassroots.
Women and community leaders were particularly highlighted during the tour, with the engagements drawing attention to the role of women in community development and the importance of supporting local initiatives.
The events also provided an opportunity for Amadi and his wife to interact directly with residents across the four communities as supporters continued to rally around his political aspirations.
Supporters described Amadi as “the people’s choice” and a leader of the masses, while the tour further highlighted the growing political activities surrounding his ambition in Imo State
