Abuja Comes Alive as ‘September to Remember’ Comedy Show Brings Music, Comedy and Family Fun

Abuja was filled with laughter, music and family entertainment on Sunday as comedians and musicians gathered for the latest edition of the annual “September to Remember” comedy show.

This year’s edition, themed “The Pensioner,” brought together popular comedians including Seyi Law, Ambassador Waahala, Funny Razaq and Wale Baba, with musical performances from Rugged Man, Sugarboy and other artistes.

But organisers took the event beyond the usual comedy routine, placing a strong focus on family participation and interactive entertainment.

Dancing, games and competitions formed a major part of the programme, giving families an opportunity to take part rather than simply watch the performances from the audience.

The family competitions also came with prizes, including refrigerators, microwave ovens and bags of rice, adding another layer of excitement to the evening.

Hosted by Ambassador Waahala, the event was held at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, bringing together entertainment lovers for an evening of comedy, music and games.

The combination of stand-up comedy, live music and family activities gave “The Pensioner” a different feel from a conventional comedy show, while keeping the annual September to Remember tradition alive.

With comedians, musicians and families sharing the same stage and audience space, the Abuja event once again positioned “September to Remember” as an entertainment experience built around laughter, music and community.
