Emir of Bauchi Commends CAC Reforms, Backs Commission’s National Development Drive

The Emir of Bauchi, Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, CFR, has commended the ongoing reforms at the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), describing the initiatives as important to strengthening the commission’s contribution to Nigeria’s national development.

The Emir spoke when he received the Chairman of the CAC Governing Board, Senator Ibrahim Ida, CON, and the commission’s management team led by its Registrar-General and Chief Executive Officer, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN, at his palace in Bauchi.

Dr. Adamu praised the leadership of the commission for pursuing reforms aimed at improving its operations and aligning its services with global best practices. He described the commitment of the CAC leadership to institutional improvement as encouraging.

The Emir also expressed delight that Bauchi was selected to host the CAC’s largest annual event, offering prayers for the success of the retreat and the achievement of its objectives.

He stressed the importance of unity, cooperation and teamwork in achieving both organisational goals and broader national development objectives, while assuring the commission of the support of the Bauchi Emirate.

Earlier, Senator Ida expressed appreciation to the Bauchi Emirate for its support and hospitality towards the commission. He also prayed for the Emir’s continued good health and wisdom in leading the emirate.

In his remarks, CAC Registrar-General Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN, thanked the Emir for receiving the delegation and for supporting the decision to hold the commission’s retreat in the historic city of Bauchi.

Magaji reaffirmed his commitment to driving further reforms at the CAC and advancing the commission in line with the reform agenda of the current administration.
